Why 1-on-1. And why it works.

I started at Penrith Selective High School and sat the selective exam to transfer to Girraween, one of NSW's top selective schools. That experience shapes how I teach. I know what these exams ask for and where students lose marks. But not every student we work with is chasing a selective place. Some want to build confidence in a subject they find hard. Others want to get ahead of the curriculum. Whatever the goal, the approach is the same.

Two students can be in the same year, at the same school and need completely different things from their sessions. One might have the comprehension but lose marks in writing. Another might be strong across the board except for one strand that keeps pulling the score down. Group tutoring cannot account for that. At Bing's Academy, every session is built around where your child is right now, not where the group is up to.
