This policy explains what personal information Bing's Academy collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry and run our tutoring programs.
Who we are
Bing's Academy is an independent online tutoring service based in New South Wales, Australia. We offer 1-on-1 tutoring for students preparing for OC, Selective and HAST exams, as well as ongoing English and Maths tutoring for Years 3 to 10.
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NSW Department of Education, NESA, ACER, or any other government or educational body. All content on this site is based on our own experience working with students and families preparing for these exams. Nothing on this site constitutes official advice from any examining body.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your child's year level
- The service you are interested in
- Any additional details you choose to include
We also collect basic usage data through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. This includes pages visited, time on site, and general device and browser information. Neither tool collects personally identifiable information on its own.
Why we collect it
We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry, understand your child's situation, and match them with the right tutor. We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your enquiry details are only seen by the Bing's Academy team and the tutor assigned to your child.
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:
- Web3Forms — receives contact form submissions and delivers them to us by email. It does not store your data beyond delivery.
- Google Analytics — collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited and time on site.
- Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised session data and heatmaps to help us improve the site.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry details for as long as you are an active student or potential student. If you have not enrolled and ask us to remove your information, we will do so within 14 days.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your information
To make any of these requests, use the contact form on our website. We will respond within 14 days.

Our site uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for usage tracking. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
